Hits you with a wonderful aroma of buttered biscuits, lemon curd, honey, and baked apples. Completely dry, palate is concentrated with minerals and salt, but honeyed. Manzanilla-esque, but much richer, a fascinating aged Chenin unlike any I've tried. Shows the incredible terroir-expressiveness of the variety.

Almost as if someone removed all the sugar from a tarte tatin and bottled it.
