Give this some air, its dramatically better!! Classic Rhone nose. Wine is high OH without air but mellows a ton with it. The fruit and subtle sweetness really pop after 30 minutes in the glass. Solid wine.

I like the Gigundas terroir because the wine is full bodied with restrained tannins so the grape flavor is pleasantly balanced , not too dry yet not at all sweet. Full bodied without the alcoholic intensity of some 'bold' wines. You can actually taste the grapes.
