Les Rugiens-Bas Pommard 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Standard Vintage lunch wine.
Ace with pizza on a public holiday Monday.

Still very very new to French Pinot.
I look forward to a lustrous future.

Flowery, drying tannins.

Classic red fruits of Pommard, doesn't leave you wanting for much

Phenomenal wine. Layered and open-knit just after popping the cork. Began to close in on itself after about half an hour. It was wonderful to drink a "young" burgundy (esp. 12) that was so accessible. Teaches me that it I shouldn't fret opening some younger bottles.
