Dark garnet red sixth near black core. Abundant nose of black fruits with a hint of leather. Full palate yields those same black and blue fruit with more pronounced (but still a hint of) leather and rubbery earth. Medium plus-minus acidity. Medium minus tannins. Big enough for beef. Light enough for fowl. Enough complexity for almost all cuisines. Great entry into CdP and a great accompaniment to any hearty fall or late-summer fare. Drink now though 2026.

Sipping Fine Wine

A bouquet of fruit aromas and toasty spice. Simple flavors of Raspberry and cherry with licorice and floral nuances adding texture to the wine. Fine tannins with a lingering finish ending with toasty meaty character. Ok, but not a fan!

Great with turkey! Was a better choice than Pinot Noir for Thanksgiving. Ripe fruit, good tannins and a spicy finish that complimented side dishes very well!
