Costières-de-Nîmes Red Rhône Blend

Montréal anniversary dinner with the family. this wine paired well with our lamb and steak though i would have loved a bit more body. acidic, red cherry, and some spice - perhaps ginger or clove.

2014 vintage Rose light pink color. Hibiscus nose, strawberry in mouth with a touch of astringency and spritz on finish. Delicate. Better as aperitif than with food

2011. Opened up really quickly and was enjoyable with an herb-crusted leg of lamb.

2015 great earthy Rhone blend

Good everyday red. Buy again.

Has more body than most, but otherwise typical.

I love this wine. B-e-a-utiful. I'm almost thinking about cancelling this review so I can have more. Let this breathe in a decanter for 2-3 hours minimum. I absolute assure you it is worth the wait. :) fruity (after a while), earthy, and very spicy. Delicious wine. 2009.
