Inky dark with only the barest signs of age evident. Smells of sandalwood and garrigue with abyssaly dark fruit kept in paper chains. A whiskey-drinker's wine with years and years ahead of it.

Nose of tart cherries and old oak. Taste like tobacco smoke, leather, and a touch of honey. Cherry fruit is light on the aftertaste with oak earthy notes to end.

Slightly muted bouquet but the palate is alive. Deep and vicious with honey, beeswax and chrysthamum tea. Mentality and acidity are still kicking!
