Here is a nice red for the holiday.
Purple in color with a purplish rim.
Nice fruity nose with black currants, cherries, plums, blueberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, smoke, black pepper, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth, light vegetables and pencil lead.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, blueberries, currants, earth, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, smoke, peppermint, light coffee, tobacco leaf and black pepper.
Nice finish with round tannins and spices.
This is a nice Côtes du Rhône red.
Nicely balanced with mild complexity. Easy drinking and good for parties or as a sipping wine by the porch.
Still young and will be better in a couple of years.
Needs 45 minutes to open up properly and show some tannins. Great for Thanksgiving.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
