Full, velvety. It’s fruity, but not sweet. A mellow easy drinker for only around $10. Quite enjoyable.

This was nicer that I expected. Grenache flavors with Cab Sauv mouthfeel. When you realize it’s a hybrid of the two it makes total sense. A little funk - the right amount - and very open and drinkable right away. For $12 this is a rare value.

Marselan, a hybrid of Cabernet and Grenache. This wine, from the Rhone, is the first red I'm aiming to buy a case of. Medium bodied with a nose of violets and potpourri with a plate of blueberries.
Very interesting grape, now hitting the United States with the help of this 9,000 bottle production.
