Now, gamay is not my favorite grape... but I'm working on being objective for the sake of my career, so I'm going to attempt to tell you about this quality Beaujolais Cru. It's got a nice bouquet of mulberry and pomegranate mixed with some earthy notes of tree bark or potting soil. The primary flavor is sour cherry with hints of red currant, and there's a touch of green peppercorn on the finish. It's got a pretty high acidity, combined with more tannin than I'd expect from this particular style of wine. Unfortunately this wind doesn't seem well-balanced to me, but again Gamay is not my forté, so drink with caution if you're not big on Beaujolais!
