Slightly occluded garnet. Great nose of pine, white pepper and blood. Supple and velvety on palate, w/ fresh acidity and mineral bite over crushed mixed berry fruit. Good length. Very drinkable and satisfying!

Pommard in Switzerland. Iron, manure, pine needles, and fresh mountain berries. A seriously good wine for the money.👌

Gamay Pinot blend from Valais. A grower for sure. At first sip, this wine was underwhelming - tight and herbal; it opened up beautifully over time with barely ripe orchard fruit (red apple, cherry, red plum) and became one of my tops from alpine wine night.

2006 vintage
Мутный грязновато-рубиновый цвет. Аромат и вкус вначале оксидативные, тяжелые, с упором на перезрелые мелкие ягоды. Нужно время: подышав, вино выправляется, становится глубже и комплекснее: мягкая слива, вишневый компот, черноплодка, жирная земля, прелая хвоя, кожа, кедр, специи, легкие животные ноты. Полное, бархатистое тело со спокойными танинами и живой, но не вертикальной кислотностью. Фантомная минеральность. Акцент не на элегантной прозрачности, а на сочной спелости фрукта с легкой естественной горчинкой. Не совсем очевидно, что здесь от возраста, а что от рустичного стиля. Интересно, хотя немного не моё.
