Some fruit, but the secondary character has the stage. Beef blood/sanguine, a touch of the animal (good brett), licorice and cola too. Really dig the complexity for a wine at $20ish dollars. Would buy again and again. Not surprising from such a solid producer. They don't get the credit they should for being a top notch CdP house.

Disappointing. No depth, quite tannic but also (for lack of better word) ‘watery’. Very bland
