Coteaux du Languedoc Montpeyroux Red Blend

Dark, smokey, sauvage. No notes really, just delicious as hell with braised pork shoulder, flageolet, onion, carrot and harrissa

High elevation Languedoc from celebrated lieu dit Montpeyroux, 30% Mourvèdre, 30% Carignan, 25% Syrah, 10% Grenache, 5% Cinsault. 35 year old vines growing out of limestone, clay, scree, and blue marl (with fossil deposits). Big, soft fruit up front with plenty of structure to back it up. Lively. Stout.

First wine in about a week. This stuff is insane! Rich, chewy, blueberry, wild herbs and blueberry finish....and it's not even ready yet. Montpeyroux has one of the best terroir in France

Un de mes vins coup de foudre ! Matière soyeux avec des fruit et des tanins a tombé par terre ! Je me damnerais pour ce vin :)
