Jun 4th, 2018This one has a few different facets. The wine poured very dark into the glass. Lots of perfume yet an edge of Earth on the nose. The entry of this wine is quite full bodied. Hits you right between the eyes. Dark purple fruit, combined with cigar box, earth, leather, and spice. This one gets a little bit darker in the middle, notes of a cinnamon and dark fig jam. The Finish is very powerful, again showing a purple Berry core with earthy notes, some clove, pepper, good acidity. I am immensely impressed with this wine. I hear that these higher elevation Malbec wines can appreciate for 20 plus years. I sure am glad I bought a few of these. Now the greatest challenge will be hands off the other four!

Nicely structured and good solid tannins without overpowering. Short finish, leathery and delicious.
