No off flavors, but kind of a dull, plummy, dark-cherry sort of table wine. Not expensive, not offensive, but still not worth the money.

The 2014 is an improvement on nearly every level. Almost 20% more Merlot in the blend. Same dark fruit on the nose but much more pronounced. A velvet mouthfeel and very smooth throughout. It’s a softer, juicier wine than the 2012 version. Blue and black berries, and dusty earth on the palate. A little new leather and oak. Medium finish with a hint of nutmeg.
