Well after Oregon back to aged Burg. Terrific wine, all the autumnal forest leaves and ripe dark red fruits and firm texture (yes denser than the ethereal Hope Well) so familiar from the stash. Yum. Paired with the duck perfectly.

CVed 1/16/18. A mini vertical of '02-'03-'05 after yesterday's '05. Darkest runt color of the three. Good complex of violets and dark berries and minerals on nose almost a hint of heat. Firm texture and hints of heat on palate and long finish. Almost a sense of new world to this vintage vs the others. Interesting. Opened 1/27/18 woman chair dinner at home. Still good and agree with above.
