The 2015 Irancy Cuvée Louis Bersan, which is aged in 35% new oak, has an attractive bouquet of well-defined cranberry, wild strawberry and briar scents. The palate is well balanced, displaying fine tannin and a lovely marine influence with hints of brine toward a finish that fans out wonderfully. Superb. Tasted blind at the BIVB Chablis tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, August 2018)
