Viscous, candied lemon, flint and spiced apple on entry, with highlights of white flowers, delicate mushroom, a wisp of honey all riding a chalky, electric core. Beautiful Bourgogne with some power, precision and concentration. 2012

2nd go. More, this time around. More assertive. Riper. More wood. Not necessarily too much, but caught me a bit off guard, as I remember it being more restrained.
