Great flavors and concentration but lacking a little vibrancy. Lots of granite and ripe black cherry on the nose, along with wisps of flinty smoke. Deep cherry fruit on the palate, along with deep minerality. A bit of tannin, too, but the knitting acids are kind of low, resulting in a looser feel than I’d prefer. Still, pretty darn good.
