This is certainly unusual. By far the ripest & biggest scaled D & R wine I’ve ever tried. Lots of fruit and a touch of forest floor. Hard to know how this will evolve but the fruit certainly makes it accessible now. At some point it would be fun to taste this against the other ‘18 Enz bottling.

From Enz Vineyard, Lime Kiln Valley AVA. Mourvèdre. Fuller body, more fruit forward style with wild red berries. 15.2% ABV. Deviates from typical D&R style, but very enjoyable.
