Decanted this insane Syrah for about 45 mins last night. Tore into some tri-tip and homemade green chile Mac n Cheese and may have found one of my favorite wines of all-time. Gonna sit on our last bottle of this and Tiller as long as we can - Dilecta is doing something truly special up there in Paso, y'all!

2013 Vintage. 15.5% Alcohol. Nice job Orion. A Westside Paso winery that was still pouring in the downtown Paso Robles Underground co-op when purchased. Big fruit and plush now.

Feb 21st, 20212012 Vintage. 15.5% Vintage. 42% Syrah, 42% Mourvèdre, 16% Grenache. Purchased when they were still at Paso Underground. Dropping some sediment, best sips were at the end of the bottle so no rush to drink up.

Big, juicy Syrah from Orion Stang. Great fruit and meatiness balanced with an almost searing streak of acidity that really helps mask the 15.7% alcohol and keeping the wine from being flabby. Awesome stuff!
