Praise Jesus, it tastes like Chardonnay! Almost like Piedmont Chardonnay, actually. Tons of Meyer lemon and custard.

Popcorn kernel and citrus rinds. Slight match stick overtone. Nice acidity and crisp finish. A little more in the direction of a Chardonnay that I like.

Pours golden in color. Aromas of lemon apple and pineapple you can hint at the oak and butter in the aroma. This is a crisp Chardonnay. Not a butter bomb at all. Citrus Flavors carry over. Slight acidity towards the finish. Medium bodied and medium finish.

Clear, star bright, medium concentration, medium+ viscosity, yellow/gold little to no rim variation. Nose: ripe lemon, candied lemon, lemon seed, pineapple, new rubber, peanut butter, wet slate, vanilla cream. French oak. Palate: very round, ripe lemon, lime, lime skin, wet rock, sharp provolone cheese, cream, light whipped butter and cedar. Med+ acid, medium bodied, medium+ finish, medium complexity. Yum

Only love makes us see ordinary things in extraordinary ways. At least that is what the Valentine's Day fortune cookie says at RDG in Houston. I see an "ordinary" Burgundian style wine.

Good balance of acid and body. Crowd friendly.

V11 bottle peaked. Drinkable, "wanted it to be good".
