From a magnum, this was intense and sinewy, laser focused with just a hint of maturity beginning to show. Quite a fresh decor of aromatics and flavors, more steely minerality than flint, which was perhaps wet and dulling; concentration of baked yellow citrus, white tea, ginger, mint, lemongrass. Loads of weight but agile and brighter than I imagined it’d be. Would be a great bottle to tuck away for another 10 Years, easily. One of the best bottles of 2017.

Slight oxidation but still has lemongrass and peppery green notes. Not great, but pretty interesting.
