Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent medium bodied Cabernet, this wine is rich in creamy tannins but not so much as to be “liquid bread “. It has very pleasant, yet restrained, Bing cherry and red currant flavors. The oak is also applied with a subtle hand. Overall, this is an impressive offering, which should evolve nicely over a couple of years’ lying down.

I didn’t like it at first opening, but once it had some air it was quite good.

This wine is a bit astringent... quite acidic ...a lighter Cabernet... perhaps it would have improved with age? I’m going to let it breath a bit longer ... at first taste this wine is a no for me.

Sure it is fine for others.

Medium body. Smooth and easy drinking. Light on tannins. Light residual sugar but not jammy as you would expect from some cabs from this region.
