The 2015 ‘Andreas’ is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine, sourced from the Wallula Vineyard and made by superstar winemaker Giles Nicault. The wine was aged for thirty months in French oak (90% new) prior to bottling. Needing more than an hour in the decanter to be fully expressive, this wine awakens to black raspberry cordial, coffee ground and black tea aromas that impress. Silky smooth, the soft mouthfeel is excellent. The palate shows good richness with mocha, Creme de cassis, anise and red bell pepper flavors with hints of white pepper. Showing more restraint than the 2014 ‘Andreas’ this is a terrific effort in this warm vintage. Drink 2020-2035- 93

Complex, opulent nose of cedar, cassis, earth, anise. On the palate, blackberry compote, graphite, silky caressing tannins, lengthy finish. One of the sexiest Washington wines I've had the pleasure of tasting in a while.

Perfect choice for a snow-day. Well-made, but too big for my personal tastes.

Color of dark purple with grey shades on the rim. Nose of oak, dried strawberry, plums, currants, spice, vanilla, aldehyde, and spicy note from alcohol. Nose is nice. Taste follows the nose, silky and mouthful, matured and soft tannins, a bit zesty feeling, well balanced of oak and dark fruits. Tasty. Aftertaste is also long and savory with some more black pepper touch. A gem of Cab
