Nice wine! Very flavorful- drinking by itself with friends -wish we had a 2nd bottle! 2018 - given to me as a present! Just a little dry.

With Jay and Deb. Fabulous with grilled burgers on pretzel buns. The Deep Valley of Mendocino Contry is a unique wine growing region that produces exceptional wines. The headwaters of the iconic Rushion River provide the lifeblood for the valley’s remarkable grapes. This red wine blend is a bold and rich wine that pairs well with a range of dishes from hearty stews and grilled steak to cream-bases sauces. The Petite Sirah gives it excellent structure while the Merlot Syrah bring softness and delightful aromatics.

$5.99 at Long Beach Trader Joe's.

2018 Vintage

Aroma: Toasted stone fruit and cracked pepper

Taste: Follows the nose with with a touch of warmth and a nice tart cherry dry finish

Mouthfeel: Surprisingly thin for the ABV.

Overall: Not the best blend IMHO, but definitely a good wine with some steak.
