Intense cherry notes and pairs to a good, hearty sausage. Original palate also carries a strong spice. On the surprise side, it earned extra points for being a versatile dinner to dessert wine with the pairing to a chocolate (even if it was only Oreos — it would be a fantastic pair with devils food or Black Forest cake).

First red blend and fell in love with the label at Trader Joe's. Read the back label and had my buzz words I look for in wine. Definitely pick up a sweet, smokey taste with a slightly spicy finish. Would purchase again especially for a hostess gift for parties.
