Van der Kamp Vineyard Pinot Noir

Finished up a small amount of leftover Pinot Noir and this vineyard doesn’t disappoint.

Another great PN from the van der Kamp vineyard. While it is a strong blackberry there is also some of the vegetable/pepper that mixes in as well.

A spicy Pinot with plenty of fruit. Van der Kamp is a vineyard worth trying.

Great Pinot that has a slight taste of a Zin. The mid to finish has a slight pepper. Great fruits and mild mineral as well.

A smoky Pinot. I liked it but my partner poured his glass back into the decanter. He loves Pinot but this was bordering on a cab.

More tannins than expected given the grape, region, and vintage, but opened up nicely. Dried berries with some foresty notes - could even be considered old world in style.

European pinot, not a lot of fruit but smooth.

Dried cranberries on the nose. Brambly red fruit with a hint of forest on the palate. Dry finish with good acidity. Very well balanced.
