2005 Florence, 7 vintages older than current release. Dark currant/blackberry fruit, silky tannins and drinking mighty fine in Baja CA Sur...of course we shared with Chef Bueno at Rancho Pescadero.

First vintage for this wine.
Florence has an expansive texture rather than the more focused Todd Bros. Anne says Florence is the “St Julien of Zinfandel."
Dark plum preserves on the palate, a bit more port-like.

Heavy beery. Viscous. Cherry with after flavor of sweet beet. Will age gracefully.
