Very surprised by the good reviews - this wine has far too much sugar on the finish - yes, it's made from dried grapes, but so is Amarone, which most of the time manages to keep the balance right. Nose is ok, I'd say quite nice even, but it all gets negated by that far sugary finish. Maybe that's intentional and just not my style. Perhaps it should be drunk with dessert or cheese.
