Sette Coppa Red Bordeaux Blend
On the nose, this is violet and blackberry concentrated... This nose is great... Is there some bramble in here too? On the palate, this enhances the blackberry... Deep, deep... Eucalyptus... Always such a great buy on the Naramata bench... The finish is medium, but really tasty here... I think that's a good way of describing this one... Tasty... There are levels of complexity for Bordeaux blends beyond this one, but really the deep dark fruit and bramble here are a double note that's really done well here!

Aug 15th, 2022Another nice vintage here (a vertical tasting would be amazing). 2014 was all blueberry and blackberry. There's an earthiness too. Allspice? Annually one of the great tasting stops on the bench. Come for the wine, stay for the bocce. Stay manly, my friends.

Dec 30th, 2018Just an outstanding wine. This winery is a must-visit on the Naramata bench. Especially for dudes. Seriously. Leave your broad to check out Therapy or whatever and come down here. All bottles are nice. They sold this 2005 in the tasting room a year or two ago and it's great with some age. Not a typical Bordeaux. Still some sweetness and amazingly some tannin. This one could go for a bit.
