Helms Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

I never rate our own wines unlike many others on the app. Not into the askew ratings that provides. I accidentally hit the rating scale and since you're committed at that point I had to rate it something. At least I didn't go for the 10 like so many other wine industry folk.

Solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ with the. Possibility of being ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ given some time for integration. Open the wine yesterday and let it slowly oxidized for five hours and it was still tight. Drinking significantly better on day two. Beautiful floral nose. Dark BlackBerry and Tannins are still alive and kicking and felt on the back pallet. I brought two with me this weekend but will definitely only open one. Not worth opening the other at this time. Too much of a battle to enjoy the wine at this time. I truly enjoy drinking some wine young and then drinking them as they evolve. I would say this is not the case for this one. Truly let it sleep for at least five years. I only bought a three pack so leaving to the other two alone for five years shouldn't be a problem!!!
Unless David Lentine comes over and says crack open a bad ass wine! @David L

Rich and still slightly tannic. Could have waited 5 more.

Great fruit and structure. Could age for years to come.

Magnum. Lots of berry. Great now and still wants to party a while longer.
