This is a nice and simple Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley.
Full bodied and smooth with medium plus acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blueberries, cherries, strawberries, light oak, vanilla, earth, licorice, spices, chocolates and peppercorn.
Short spicy finish with fine grained tannins.
This 5 year old is still drinking nicely although a bit tangy.
Good right out of the bottle and good for parties. I paired it with light appetizers.
