Not their best effort. Tannins are sharp, out of balance.

We had a nice Riesling from this winery a couple days ago, so I was eager to try this 2010 Merlot. Alas, I was a bit disappointed. It's a bit sharp with tannins, and not especially interesting otherwise. Still, for $4.48, it's not too bad.
