Dark ruby. Inviting nose of cassis and plum. Medium full palate echoes the nose adding cocoa and a hint of baking spice and anise. Medium, "dusty" (natch) tannins from entry even before any air. Medium acidity well in balance. Finish is moderately long and continues the palate. Definitely a wine for dinner, but it doesn't have to be a heavy meal. Lighter cuts of beef (filet, petite sirloin, etc.) will fare just as well as more burly cuts. Drink now through 2030 with modest development.
