Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, oak, light licorice, spices, vegetables, smoke and white pepper.

Light to medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, raspberries, wood, licorice, earth, spices, cloves, vegetables, black pepper, tobacco leaf and mint.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a nice table wine from Italy. Balanced with good acidity to pair with food. Showing mild complexity and a soft mouthfeel.
After it opens up, it has a fruity feel, more than I expected from an old world wine.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (45 minutes).

I paired it with an Italian antipasto.

13% alcohol by volume.

83 points.
