Don’t remember we’re I picked up this bottle, but pleasantly surprised. With it being 17 years old, it now has a deep amber/brown coloring with a fair amount of deposit. Aromas and taste of jamminess, black plum, fig, prune, cooked plum, vegetal, resinous, charred wood, and game. Smooth and the tannins are just right. The finish is quite long.

A classic Amarone. Soft tannins, a hint of oak. A sweet bouquet. Very jammy.
