Lot of Oak, French opens but the American stands out. good fruit & flowers but the oak dominates on day 1...24 hours later, the wood tannin dominates on the palate too. Not good. Wish it wasn't the case. Wine is best at 72 hours, but not sure if it's dead or not...

Sep 8th, 2016I've previously rated this higher, bit this is a bit past its prime. Savory blue fruits with nice finish, but the structure is mostly gone, and so it's flabby. Drink up!
