Chocolate, sage, blackberries, earthy and slightly herbaceous. Low acidity and fine, smooth tannins. Not many layers on the palate, just simple and light from start to finish.

Tasting decent right now. Lots of dark fruit: cherries, berries, some stone fruit. Already softened up quite a bit for this vintage. Not sure how much longer I would hold this.

Starts out with loads of fresh mixed berries, juicy ripe plums and then has a period about 1 hour after opening of heavy, bold spice, gasoline and then 1.5 hours in eases off into a softer wine with some cherry flavors. 3 distinct tastes in 1 bottle...what a deal!
