One of Napa's more underrated producers of single vineyard Cabernet. This '09 has years ahead of it. Smokey earthy mouth-watering deliciousness. There are many great Napa cabs that I love, but I trust Conn Creek the most.

Apr 17th, 2014I'm a bit biased having worked at Conn Creek, but there is no denying this is an elegant, concentrated, powerful example of Napa Cabernet from a mountain vineyard. Inky, earthy, with great typicity. Enough acid and tannin to keep this bottle going for several more years.

This one surprised me a bit. Really smooth for the vintage. Still has the typical Cab pepper but more subtle. This one will be fantastic decanted or held for a few more years.
