Cherry cola, pomegranate, roses, Asian spice with very fine tannins. More overtly aromatic and expressive than the 2014, but also benefiting from more bottle age. Still fairly dense core with silky core and a sneaky finish that builds slowly. Lifted, elegant and showing subtle power.

This is what California Pinot Noir is all about. Wonderful grace and nuance on the palate. Optimal ripeness. Whole-cluster aromatics that sing in the glass. Fruit that just keeps revealing more of itself by the minute. Same wine as Anthill Farms Comptche Ridge single vineyard bottling.

Probably my favorite bottle I've had to date from the Anthill farmers.
