The Peat Monster Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Living up to its name. Opens up with pure campfire smoke. The first sip is overwhelming with the smokiness and peat. Once past the initial impression it gives way to an almost sweet note followed by more peatiness and a bit of a burn. Enjoyable for those who really enjoy the islay scotch

Very peaty but not much smoke

Pretty awesome. Does not overwhelm with any one aspect. So well done.

despite the name, an incredibly well balanced peaty style scotch. warm spice followed by the loveliest of smoke.

Laphroig modified with Ledaig and Ardmore (peated Speyside).
