Diane Cobb: Coastlands Vineyard Pinot Noir

so damn interesting & brilliant.

My fave wine from Mr Ross Cobb, ever. Happy birthday to me.

The rest will be cellared, but I can't help opening a bottle of the new release tonight. I mean, it is, after all the Best Pinot being made in California.

Remarkably open for the baby that it is.

Light pepper and lots of tart fruit (Bing cherry and strawberry). Beautiful wine from Diane and David Cobb. Complex and supple. Again, a great pair with Mateo's fresh lamb.

Took a min to open up but was pleasantly surprised by lightness of fruit and the driving acids
