Great wine. Needs more than an hour for the wine to open but its worth the wait! For under $10 at Trader Joe's you can't beat it.

Reminder of wine tastings in Sonoma.. good for after dinner wine... M says it’s on the sweeter side, but this is a zin and he likes to compare to cabs

$10 at Whole Foods. Loud, ripe, and a decent value. Probably not something I would serve to guest, but nice for a random weekday night at home , value wine! Pairs nicely with a Moroccan style, mint meat. High tannins, full body, high alcohol. Over powering toasted oak on the nose, along with sour cherries. Oak, pepper, vanilla, mocha, ripe red fruit on the tongue. Little heat on the finish. Better served on the colder range to tamp it down.
