Jul 11th, 2020Rich heady smell, floods the mouth smooth velvety almost syrupy. Sweet, full bodied, very mild acidity- just enough to titillate the mouth. Pretty clean finish, with slight tannins. Ate with short rib ragu with gremolata (makes the garlic burn a bit more in the mouth) and uni. Charles: tannins actually pretty strong, just balanced by sweetness. By dark fruit.mysterious.
