2010 vintage Lovely deep garnet colour introduces the the tightly packed dark berry fruit with a hazy lavender warmth. Plenty of spicy oak and almost meaty richness. Surprisingly medium bodied in the mouth, maybe lifted by the high alcohol. Packed with fruit, dry and astringent tannins give this wine years still. Long and satisfying aftertaste.

Started quite ripe, almost port like fruit and richness. With time showed this minerality, stone, lean youthful character. Fruit richness died off leaving youthful structure. Impressive

Lovely ruby color with powerful dark fruit, spiced berry and aromas. Vanilla, tobacco oak flavors strong but balanced , tannins grippy at first but body and structure not overpowering despite its youth and high alcohol content. Will probably drink a lot smoother with a couple years of cellaring but not too young to drink

Beautiful and juicy, hints of plum jam and other red fruits. Maybe a hint of dark chocolate under the oak. Tannins can come on a bit strong but softened after an hour or so. A well balanced wine

Showing some great meaty quality which takes a little focus away from its plum jam hit. Blueberries, menthol and savoury wafts swoop through from time to time. The tannin here is something seriously unexpected, really powerful and grippy, that did settle a little as the night went on. Flavour profile in the gob is beautiful and highlights a little darker fruit and the oak.
