Good example of a Cote- Rotie a bit to the international style with a good bit of newer oak. The wine is unfiltered, which gives a good sense of earth to the wine. Well made, good earth, bramble and some mushroom on the palate. Served with roasted chicken, polenta and sautéed spinach.

Stellar wine. Not sure why the scrub below 8.5ed it. High quality Cote-Rotie and 2005 drinking very well. Decant. Could sit longer.

Explosively fruity, huge cherry compote and tons of black pepper with subdued meaty elements. Much bigger and fruitier and younger tasting than most wines of this AOC.
