Maker North Coast Rose (and Roses). I like Chris’ Sauv Blancs better, but this is a very interesting take on Rose—based on a barrel fermented Chard. In Chris’ style, it’s thoroughly unconventional: more buttery than you’d expect a rose to be, but balanced and refreshing.
