I didn't decant long enough. It wasn't until about 2-3 hours into drinking that it started to show. A great wine that needs air. Paired with BBQ beef short ribs and roast sweet potatoes. A lovely expression of Zinfandel that overdelivers. Still a lot of life left, no rush to drink the rest of my bottles. While I didn't notice the 15% alcohol while drinking, I certainly felt it later.

Rotisserie orange, clove and sage turkey on the Weber (lump charcoal & pecan wood chunks). Fruit, spice, balance, smooth. A perfect pairing. Thankful that I have another bottle for a few years from now as this will drink well for a while. #thanksgiving
