Acid and smooth, red berries taste straightforward at first then cinch off quickly into bitterness like raspberry seeds. Easy to drink and won't steal the show or weigh down dinner.

Graham cracker, cocoa nibs, beef, dry, medium acidity, far more elegant than the price belies; mild bacon, raspberry, minerally.

Great value and a great drink. Lovely acidity and enough heft for a chilly LA evening.

Red blend from Ventoux. Mostly Syrah, Carignan and Grenache. Cherries and fresh savory herbs. Restrained and really good.

Classy label. Bit scant on the technical info on the back. Decent color. Looks more like Grenache than Syrah. Smells of fruit molasses and latex paint. But not badly of latex paint. Hint of fresh cut shrubs. Flavors are grippy and tart. Pomegranates, tart cherries and tonics. Pretty French with the dry and bitter stuff. Fleshy. Great food pairing wine.
