Smell of cedar, plum, tobacco and red fruit, dark ruby/purple in color, decanted 1/2 bottle the first day for about one hour, a little too much heat with not much fragrance, after three days, it really opened up and the heat is gone. Smooth tannin with medium to long finish. Bang for the buck from the excellent 2005 vintage.

Nov 25th, 2021Day 1: my thoughts were Parker was wrong about this one. Very one dimensional. Fruity, some clay, nothing special. Ripe, but also quit average. Day 2...damn! It developed some muscle overnight! And leather and tobacco too. And the fruit's still there. A solid 89 points. After all.
